Drowning in manual grunt work
Investment banking analysts spend up to 70% of their time on repetitive manual tasks — scouring databases, copying financial data between spreadsheets, and compiling deal documents. In the M&A space, where deals can reach billions of dollars, this inefficiency isn't just frustrating — it's costly.
Existing tools were built for a pre-AI era: siloed databases, clunky interfaces, and zero intelligent automation. Analysts were toggling between 15+ browser tabs, manually cross-referencing data, and spending hours on tasks that should take minutes.
AI-powered deal intelligence
DeltaGen AI is an end-to-end platform that augments every stage of the M&A workflow with artificial intelligence. From sourcing potential targets to managing due diligence tasks, the platform replaces manual grunt work with intelligent automation — while keeping the analyst firmly in control.
The platform combines a conversational AI interface for deal research, a visual pipeline dashboard for deal tracking, deep company profiles for target evaluation, and an integrated CRMfor relationship and task management.

From V0 to V1 — a complete rethink
Research
Conducted 12 shadowing sessions with M&A analysts across 3 firms. Combined with Hotjar heatmaps and session recordingsfrom the V0 prototype, we identified critical UX bottlenecks in the deal research workflow.
Key Changes
- Restructured information architecture from feature-centric to workflow-centric
- Introduced persistent AI chat context across deal sessions
- Redesigned pipeline from list view to kanban-style board
- Added integrated CRM to reduce tool-switching overhead
Responsibilities
Led end-to-end UX design for the entire DeltaGen AI platform, from initial research through to production-ready specs.
Conducted stakeholder interviews and user shadowing sessions with M&A analysts to map pain points and workflows.
Designed and iterated on the AI chat interface, pipeline dashboard, target overview, and CRM modules.
Created a comprehensive design system with reusable components, ensuring consistency across all platform modules.
Collaborated closely with engineering to ensure pixel-perfect implementation and optimal front-end performance.
Facilitated usability testing sessions and incorporated feedback into rapid design iterations.
Presented design rationale and progress to C-suite stakeholders and investors during funding rounds.
“Great enterprise design isn't about making complex things look simple — it's about making complex workflows feel intuitive. Every screen should answer: what do I do next, and why should I trust this?”
